Tim Weed (AKA Tim Wiedenkeller) is a professional guitar and mandolin player and virtuoso 5-string banjo performer with 30 years of experience playing and teaching. He teaches 3-finger-style banjo, acoustic and electric guitar, mandolin, and voice. His expertise covers a wide range of styles, including bluegrass, pop, jazz, blues, world, and classical. He honed his playing alongside some of the most influential musicians of today.
Tim worked for years as a studio musician in Los Angeles, immersed in a myriad of diverse styles. He has received international acclaim for Milagros, his CD of original classical banjo compositions for the 5-string banjo.
